Can i do updates still on a jailbreak iphone?

   Iphone Jailbreak

   Apps…Yes.
   Firmware…No.

   Your Jailbreak WILL be erased. I assume you’re not running the newest 2.2.1 firmware, if an update is available.

   If you decide to update, just make sure you restore your iphone to its original settings, and have iTunes backup your iPhone before doing so.

   I can’t confirm this, but I’ve heard that updating without restoring first isn’t a good thing to do.
